Certified Financial Planner

Currently, we are looking to add an experienced financial planner to our team. The candidate should be comfortable with a dynamic and purposeful environment. We also seek the highest quality candidates who can grow with the firm as it expands and grows. With significant assets under management, the company has put in place the systems and tools you would expect to help grow and manage the business but is still open to you and your ideas on making the client experience even better.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial advice based on a clear understanding of your fiduciary responsibility to place your clients’ interests ahead of your own.
  • Develop client relationships through regular client meetings and communications.
  • Complete planning updates and portfolio reviews. Collaborate with clients to arrive at agreed solutions and execute portfolio changes.
  • Support data gathering and preparing drafts of comprehensive financial plans including analyses requested by clients.
  • Demonstrate capability and expertise in engaging new clients.
  • Be creative, problem solve, and enjoy the work.
  • Ownership opportunities may exist for the right candidates.

Requirements at a Minimum:

  • Proficient in: eMoney
  • CFP®
  • Series 65 or the intent to take it
  • Client-focused approach with excellent listening and retention skills
  • A deep desire to grow in knowledge and experience
  • A love of providing clients with clear solutions

Tax Consultant

Tax Consultant

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Consultant at Legacy Financial Group in Urbandale, IA. The Tax Consultant will be responsible for tax planning, compliance, preparation, audits, and staying up-to-date with tax laws. The role entails working closely with clients to provide expert tax advice and services.

Qualifications

  • Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation skills
  • Experience in handling Tax Audits and knowledge of Tax Law
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
