Alyssa joined the Legacy Financial Group team bringing with her a background in hospitality management and experience working in an oncology clinic, where she provided administrative support and assisted patients and families navigating cancer care. Her experiences have strengthened her passion for helping others, something she feels is one of her biggest callings in life. She finds the most fulfillment in knowing she has made a positive difference in someone’s day.
Faith and family are the most important parts of Alyssa’s life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and volunteering in her community through her church, local food pantries, and helping provide supplies to people experiencing homelessness. She loves running, foraging, thrifting, and exploring Iowa’s land, wildlife, and history. She hopes to train for a marathon soon.
Alyssa is naturally curious and loves learning about nearly everything. She enjoys nonfiction books, documentaries, and anything that helps her understand how and why things work. Her mom has always been a big inspiration and taught her to look for the beauty in everything, a perspective Alyssa carries with her every day.
She also has a love for true crime and mysteries and considers herself pretty good at solving them. Her favorite movie and board game is Clue, and when she is not outside, there is a good chance she is watching a documentary or something that gets her thinking.
Born in Denver, Alyssa is a proud Denver Broncos fan, but Iowa has been home for many years. She is grateful to call Iowa home and enjoys being part of the community around her.
